Human Rights in Bahrain

In light of recent events taking place in Bahrain, the Law Department at Middlesex University is proud to host an event entitled: Human Rights in Bahrain

Presented by Dr. Saeed Shahabi

Speakers: Professor Joshua Castellino, Zainab Meftah, Mr. Ali Aswad

This event will take place on Wednesday 25th April 2012 in room C210 from 16:00-17:30

The event is open to the public and will involve short presentations of views by a range of academics and civil society actors who are engaged with issues in Bahrain

Since space is limited please RSVP to Christiana on who can provide directions and request a limited amount of car spaces

Biographies and speakers 

Joshua Castellino is Professor of Law & Head of the Law Department at Middlesex University, and author of books on international law and human rights. His latest book is Minority Rights in the Middle East: A Comparative Legal Analysis.

Zainab Meftah is a Doctorate Student at Middlesex University.  Her research is about Human Rights and Business in Bahrain.
